Hamburg-English arose out of a concept in which language teaching is optimized towards the needs of company employees by using dual-profession trainers; qualified language trainers with additional qualifications in engineering and many years experience as business professionals.

The concept of Hamburg-English offers many benefits over and above traditional language training; from the teacher's ability to understand an industry or product and their knowledge of the needed vocabulary, to their experience in the world of business. This understanding and experience is quickly and effectively introduced into classes.

To optionally compliment Hamburg-English courses through accreditation and to offer certification for the purpose of international quality standards, Hamburg-English became an official TOEIC® test center. Certification at the end of all Hamburg-English courses can be included as required.
